CONSTRUCTION

The Sari Ann is a Peter Kass designed lobster boat, built by John’s Bay Boat Company in 2006.

The Sari Ann is planked with Maine cedar and fastened with bronze to white oak framing. The washrails and trunk cabin are fiberglassed marine plywood. The wheelhouse is mahogany, painted on exterior and varnished inside. The work deck is Douglas fir.

MECHANICAL

The Sari Ann in powered by a Volvo D-13 with 15,000 hours. She has a 2.5” shaft and a 32” wheel. Her fuel capacity is 400 gallons in 2 tanks. In addition to standard lobstering hydraulics, she has an aluminum mast and boom with a hydraulic winch.

ELECTRICAL

The Sari Ann has both 12 and 24 volt alternators, each charging separate battery banks. She has a full complement of electronics.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Inside, the Sari Ann has a helmsman seat, a counter along the starboard side with storage beneath, and a bench across the back. Down below, she has 4 bunks, a settee, a galley area with a Reflex stove, and an aluminum work bench.

The sari ann is a proven rugged lobstering vessel. with her mast and boom, she would also make a great island work boat. Additionally, her interior offers good cruising potential.
